KELLY ZUNIGA

Kelly brings over 15 years of expertise 
in media and bilingual storytelling to Harpswood's Houston, Texas office. 
Before joining Harpswood Kelly led communication strategies for a number 
of globally recognised brands, including 
the University of Houston, Puerto Rico’s 
most read newspaper El Nuevo Día, USA Today Puerto Rico, Puerto Rico Governor’s Communications Office, and Spanish-language television station Univision 
Tampa. With a knack for crafting compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, Kelly’s thoughtful communication approach makes her a valuable asset to 
the team in Houston.

JAMES CLENCH
FOUNDER

James spent 16 years as a reporter and news editor in national newspapers, including a period as head of news at The Sun. A highly skilled communicator, James understands 
the news agenda and knows what journalists want. He founded Harpswood to help exciting and disruptive businesses who are having a positive impact on society communicate effectively - his work with Octopus Energy over the last seven years has helped the business to transform from an ambitious startup into a £7bn business driving the green energy revolution. James now 
oversees Harpswood’s global expansion 
and continues to be involved in the agency’s day-to-day operations.

ABIGAIL SMITH
DIRECTOR

Abi runs Harpswood with James and was the first person he called to help him build the business. Her expertise, energy and high standards set the bar for the agency's excellent service and delivery. She joined from a top 10 UK PR agency where she ran big-budget campaigns for household names, tech scale-ups and FTSE100 firms. With a true passion for raising the profile of disruptive organisations, Abi plays a central role in expanding the business both in the UK and globally and ensuring the agency’s clients 
and people are thriving.
