How eye-catching photos of Packfleet’s vans delivered top media coverage
Attention grabbing, high-quality photos can make the difference between a story getting published or passed over. We also know that the strength of your images can mean that your story - and business - gets more space on the page.
When we started working with London-based delivery disruptor Packfleet, we knew that having great photos of its eye-catching vans would help boost media interest in its business.
We suggested that Packfleet arrange a photoshoot with its vans in front of iconic London locations. From Chinatown to the London Eye, these images were used continually by the press and helped to land one of the most prominent articles we achieved for the business in the Evening Standard. The article saw a new merchant sign up within an hour of the article’s publication - a great example of the power of targeted PR.
Following that initial success, we pitched the idea of a creative photoshoot to Packfleet that would reflect the energy of its brand. We felt that Packfleet should include products that it regularly delivered. So, we got to work.
We commissioned photographer Diana Patient to bring the vision to life who our media director Steve had worked with back in his days working at the Mirror. We worked closely with Diana to develop a shot-list and to incorporate props relevant to the independent merchants that Packfleet serves - from eye-catching dresses to fresh groceries and flower bouquets. Our team was on hand during the shoot in Packfleet’s warehouse to help direct the shoot and to ensure they had as much media appeal as possible.
The results were a hit. The photos have been used extensively across media, supporting everything from Packfleet’s partnership announcements to business news and profile interviews.
Fast forward to November, and we were back at it again—this time with a festive twist. With Christmas on the horizon, Harpswood once again partnered with Diana on the creative production of a seasonal shoot. Both photoshoots paid dividends, with the striking Christmas photos appearing across a series of national newspapers, including The Sun.
Our results with Packfleet are proof that investing in interesting, high-quality images of your business goes a long way. Strong imagery can really help to illustrate your story, catching the media’s attention and making a meaningful impact on their readers.
