Supporting Octopus Energy US at New York Climate Week

New York Climate Week is one of the world’s leading climate events, bringing together heads of state, business leaders, NGOs and activists to drive the transition to a net-zero, climate-resilient future.

We were proud to offer on-the-ground support for Octopus Energy US CEO Michael Lee during a packed week of speaking engagements, roundtables, and media opportunities.

From securing media opportunities to preparing briefings, we worked tirelessly to ensure Octopus Energy US was a key voice in the week’s energy innovation discussions.

We know how valuable events can be in raising the profile of a company and its spokespeople. Be it at industry-specific events or global climate gatherings – we help our clients take the stage and support them every step of the way.

We coordinated Michael’s participation in several events throughout the week - from the Goals House roundtable where he spoke alongside the B Team, Rockefeller Brothers Fund, and ClientEarth, to an invite to The New York Times’ exclusive Climate Forward Dinner. Michael had the opportunity to advocate for the role of electrification in driving down emissions at scale and meet other energy leaders and policymakers who are helping to shape the next phase of the energy transition.

Events can be a fantastic opportunity to make your voice travel further, so we always look for opportunities for on-site media interviews that can turn event moments into press coverage.

We helped Michael to contribute insights on clean energy innovation to Sustainable Switch, Reuters’ flagship sustainability newsletter that reaches a global audience of business leaders and policymakers.

NY Climate Week is just one of many examples of where we’ve provided invaluable events support for our clients. Other recent examples include: Enlit in Milan, London Tech Week, Smarter E in Munich, Handelsblatt Energie-Gipfel in Berlin, and CERA Week by S&P Global in Houston.

And we don’t just help clients navigate events – we also help to create them. Like Octopus Energy’s Energy Tech Summit, held in partnership with WIRED and in aid of the Energy Act for Ukraine, and Subak’s Summit for climate actors in London - proving that the right event doesn’t just spark conversation; it drives action.
